Established in 1998, DataFM Sdn Bhd commenced business in Malaysia with focus on the provision of total Vehicle Management Solutions. Incorporating a blend of Fleet Telematics and Consultancy services, DataFM seeks to offer a unique combination of innovative fleet management systems for specific business needs. Continual effort in Research and Development has not only allowed us to keep track of the latest developments in Vehicle Management Solutions, but also delved into Assets Management Solutions to cater to a wider range of businesses.

Eventually, we evolved into a professional Fleet Management organisation – covering Asia Pacific and Australia via the setup of:

• Vehtec Pty Ltd, Australia (1998)

• Datatec Logistics, Hong Kong (1999)

Our expertise in software and firmware development, as well as hardware engineering enables us to design and develop custom solutions to meet business challenges that are unique to every enterprise; be it small business or large corporations.

Our founder, Foo Tiang Long, kickstarted a humble beginning by playing the crucial roles of both sales personnel and technician. Be it rain or shine, he often took the liberty to participate in field work. Through sheer determination and perseverance, what started off as a two-men operation is now a strong workforce of 50 employees; with key personnel based in every major city in Malaysia to grow service excellence and client satisfaction.
